Tags and Trailers for Out-Of-State Buyers

If you’re buying from out of state, you can leave our lot with a temporary registration and confidence that you are street-legal for 60 days. Some states (like Pennsylvania) require the Manufacturer's Certificate of Origin to be notarized, and our staff will notarize these documents free of charge.

Renewing Trailer Tags in Maryland
A trailer tag is like a license plate for a car or truck. It proves you have registered your trailer in Maryland and displays the expiration month and year. Tags must be renewed every two years, although one-year registrations are now available, and are required if you plan to use your trailer on public roads.
